Olive in Halberstadt

Basically, I am in favor of supporting local companies in difficult times. That is why we (7) tried the food to go for the first and unfortunately last time today. In terms of taste, it was very good, as one is used to from this kitchen. Unfortunately, the price / performance is not right - I don't seem to be alone with this opinion. We are happy to pay more for gastronomy than for a snack, but we never got full today. A lot of Lollo Rosso as a side dish in a compartment of the transport box only looks good. The "main course" was, in the tenor of all test eaters, clearly too little. Too bad. On the entrance door, the operator's requests are clearly legible to adhere to the Corona-compliant rules. You do, no question about it. But it makes no sense if I am served without a mask and people present (without uniforms) are in the personnel area without a mask.

By chance saw the olive on our exploration tour through Halberstadt and stayed here for dinner. We were thrilled: nice service, nice atmosphere and delicious food, what more could you want.

Nice, cozy restaurant with very tasty cuisine. The menu has only a few dishes. If you are grumpy, you have little choice. But the food is very tasty and freshly prepared. The terrace is actually nice, but very noisy due to the traffic on the cobblestones. Inside is much more pleasant.

Very good food and nice service! You can recommend the olive 100%. Definitely worth a visit ... the ravioli filled with peccorino and figs are incredibly good ... fine thing!

On a Friday evening my girlfriend and I spent a cozy evening there, the service was very friendly and courteous. The offer was small but still totally sufficient. The food was very tasty and lovingly presented, the price was adjusted. I was satisfied and would visit the Olive in Halberstadt again and definitely recommend it.

We were in the olive again after a long time. And I have to say despite owner change, at class the olive has not lost (rather won). The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was awesome. We had the tomato soup for the appetizer which was just mega. Our main course was the absolute highlight. Really you can taste the fresh. I can only recommend you to try it out. Very highly recommended.

I don't know how to evaluate it fairly, the quality is really very good, everything seems to be freshly prepared. The starters are great. I'm also very into selected good dishes on the menu, but ...... this menu is very manageable in terms of the selection. The main courses are very tasty but clearly too small for the price. Four stars due to the good taste, rather two for price-performance ratio.
